Crown Jewels was established in 2010 in memory of Rosario (Roy) Scalcione and to help promote awareness for mental health illnesses.
Based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, our fundraising efforts support the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) Foundation’s Child, Youth and Family Program, which provides assistance in education, research, prevention, and health promotion for children and youth. The Child, Youth and Family Program is committed to client-centred care, providing intensive and specialized services for young people with mental health and/or addiction problems. Some of the outpatient services they provide are:
• Mood and Anxiety Disorders
• Eating Disorders – outpatient treatments
• Adolescent Service
• Psychotic Disorders
• Substance Abuse
• Youth Addiction
• Psychiatric Consultations, and many more
To date, Crown Jewels has raised approximately $34,000 in support of CAMH.
